I love reading books.
Fucking love it.
Especially this recent book that I just read finish like... few hours ago.

Cecelia Ahern.

Her name should ring a bell to a few out there. She is the author for the book-turned-movie "P.S. I love you". (this book rocks too! Makes me cry like shit!)

This book is written in forms of letters, emails, sms.
It is about this two person Rosie and Alex.

They have been best friends since they met in school at a young age.
When Alex suddenly has to move away, Rosie is devastated and makes plans to move over to join him in Boston.
However, Rosie becomes pregnant after getting drunk at the age of eighteen and has to cancel her plan to move to Boston.
She raises her baby, Katie and continues to communicate with Alex through emails, letters and instant chats.
They continue to deny their love for each other while going through marriages, lovers and divorces.

And finally Alex finally confesses his love for her in a letter. (Like FINALLY!!)
The fucking husband of Rosie (who cheated on her TWICE!) kept the letter and call Alex to fuck off.
Finally like after damn damn long, Rosie found out about the letter and wanted to ask Alex but Alex is married (second time) so nothing is mentioned.

It was only until they are both old at fifty years old before they finally know the feelings between them. AND the perfect silence they are been longing for.

I'm not going to tell you about what the hell is the silence thingy.
It's just so pek chek to see them missing one another and not been together.
But at the end of it, I felt that it doesn't matter at all.
They missed and wasted half of their lives away but they don't care.
They finally knew.
The sweet silence.
I feel so happy for them.
It's just so fucking sweet!

Then, just now I thought of a kinda old song that recently got stuck in my head.

Why dont you kiss her by Jesse Mccartney
Then I was looking at the lyric.
And WTH!!
I saw an uncanny resemblance with the story plot from the novel above.
Check it out.

Why don't you kiss her
Were the best of friends
And we share our secrets
She knows everything that is on my mind
But lately somethings changed
As I lie awake in my bed
A voice here inside my head
Softly says

Why don't you kiss her
Why don't you tell her
Why don't you let her see
The feelings that you hide
Cuz she'll never know
If you never show
The way u feel inside

Oh im so afraid to make that first move
Just a touch and we
Could cross the line
And everytime she's near
I wanna never let her go
Confess to her what my heart knows
Hold her close

What would she say
I wonder would she just turn away
Or would she promise me
That she's here to stay
It hurts me to wait
I keep asking myself

Coincidence rocks.
I love this song.
My favourite one right now.
And Cecelia Ahern rocks too.
My favourite author!
But her recent novel okay okay only.
haha
but whatever.. I still love her anyway.
